So my Issue 28 arrived today. The Canon EF-S 55-250MM f/4-5.6 IS is still number one. Since I do not have a large camera budget, this one is still my goal for my next lens.

Now I have it I picked up a used one. This is from a reputable camera shop (http://www.henrys.com) here in Toronto. They offer a standard 90 warranty on used, but the sale person dropped the price of the lens by the same amount as the 3 year warranty so I got it. So I got a used lens in excellent shape for $249 CDN with a 3 year warranty. Currently the same lens new is about $100 more.
