Lifeboat Station

This is the lifeboat station at Cullercoats, near Tynemouth.

Edited using Lightroom and PSE9 to bring out the contrast in the clouds.

Great sky, and agree with oldboy about the processing. The verticles maybe could do with correcting though.

It's one of those debatable point isn't it Karen: To straighten or not to straighten. I decided that the very obvious leaning adds to the shot so I left it as is. Sort of pointed to the cool sky.

I quite agree. If it had been a straight-on shot of the building, then the verticles should be straighten, but as the shot was taken at a jaunty angle it should be left as is.
