Mummy was so proud...

A shot taken today of my 3 year old nephew. He was playing in the garden, with a toy gun that fires a plastic projectile. I was hoping to get him to point his gun at me to get nice shot of him at play. Instead, he decided to point his finger at me instead. Delightful child lol.

I was quite stunned that he did it and almost forgot to raise the camera to my eye to take the shot. His expression, together with his fat little digit aloft, really made me chuckle. Under pressure and threat of Uncle never buying him sweeties again, Jack spilled the beans. Apparently he learned the gesture from his 5 year old brother, who in turn was imbued with the knowledge from older kids in the school playground. You can always rely on the school yard to make up the gaps in the national curriculum!

Needless to say, Mummy was not best pleased!

Thanks guys. Mark, he's definitely not saying "look at my finger Unc" lol. Jack knows he was being naughty, as Jack invariably does.

Yup Karen, Jack is always the character and there's barely a day goes by that I don't see him and he doesn't have me in stitches at his antics. Typical little boy. Always up to no good, running around, getting filthy dirty and touching things he shouldn't be. I love him dearly though.

Just to annoy and embarrass my sister, I've gotten this picture printed onto a T-shirt, which should be with me next week. She has no idea. I can't wait to unzip my jacket and reveal it in front of her friends lol. I think Jack takes after uncle in the git department

Unfortunately, my days of seeing him regularly are numbered. Its looking increasingly likely that my sister is heading to Canada with her husband's work. I will miss my Crackerjack bitterly

Get a web camera and you can see him every day.

Cracking shot and well caught.
