First go at a gig...

Hi Everyone,

Recently went along to a gig a friend did - never done anything remotely like this before, normally shoot bikes and critters! Would love your advice on how to do a better job next time round. These are straight off the card so appreciate they could use a little photoshopping....and apologies if they're massive - never posted images here either!!

Lol markgozz!! Bet you didn't have any, just in case!!

Thanks for the comments, much appreciated. Pretty happy with how they turned out. Just a pity they didn't have twice as long to perform, was all over too quickly!

Good first attempts. Did you get any wider angles too?

The second one looks like it may be focussed on the mic rather than the guy though.... or is that just my eyesight?

I am trying to get permission to photo my 1st gig too. a punk festival in durham, england. Its a great chance to try something different. I would have liked to see some wider shots rather than all close ups but well done.
