Epson stylus pro print speed comparison

Hello,
We recently created a video to show real life print speed comparisons for the latest batch of printers. Here is the link to the video.

Thank you all

The chances of any Photo Radar members actually owning or using any of these three printers - as good as they might be - are very slim.

And is the relative speed of printing with these printers of any relevance to us? In fact, is the relative speed of printing of any printer of relevance? The members here (that have printers) would, I'm sure, consider 'speed of printing' the least important part of making a buying decision.... a long way down the checklist after quality, cost, cost of ink, reliability, footprint.

In the video we do cover pricing as well as average ink usage for a typical size print. The cost of ink will of course depend on where you purchase it but this will give you some solid numbers to go off of besides the numbers in the epson brochure.

With PhotoRadar being a UK-targetted site (as it supports a few UK magazines) the prices of the printers would need to researched again in the UK market..... for example, the $3995 quoted for the 7900 in the US becomes 3,738 to 4,069 pounds in the UK. That makes it a different ballgame.

Sorry, I'm not knocking the quality of the products or of DTG....... but I do question the relevance of these printers to the 99% amateur membership of PhotoRadar, and whether this is purely an advertisement (which it could be said is totally misplaced on this website).
