Canon ef-s 17-55mm f2.8 IS USM lens

Hi guys,I was just wondering, does anyone own the Canon ef-s 17-55mm f2.8 IS USM lens? I am thinking of upgrading my 450d to a 60d and this lens. The reviews I have read are very encouraging although some reviewers complain of a dust problem.
The cost of the lens is very expensive for an ef-s lens, but I believe the optics are superb.
Any info would be appreciated.

Des.

I have had the 17-55 for ~ 3 years now and absolutely love it. Cannot say I have had dust problems. It is subject to glare if shooting into the sun.

You might also want to check out this link with a comparative review of the lens against a couple of other similar, 3rd party lenses.
