Post which lens next for my 500D??
i am new to photography and am looking eventually to invest in a new lens. I currently have a EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens.

What lens would anyone recommend as a next lens up from this? im thinking of a 70-300mm Canon or Sigma lens. any recommendations?

Perhaps it's best to ask this one in the Canon forum - after all, there must be plenty of people there that have had the same question.
