Feeling a Homer moment coming on .....

Is there a clipped highlight warning option in Elements 9? I know there is when you open a raw, but I'm looking for one that would show on the image I'm working on.

Thanks in Advance.

You can always open a Levels adjustment layer and then use [ALT]+"Click on white pointer". This will show any areas of the image that are "clipped" above the level you set the white pointer at.

Hope this helps.

Cheers, Sie

Sie, you're a legend mate. I'm embarrassed to say how long that has been bugging me. Thank you.

And you can open a Jpeg in Adobe Camera Raw in Elements..... go to File > Open As... > choose "Camera Raw" as the file type, then select the Jpeg you want..... you don't get quite the effect of a Raw in ACR but you can make a lot of improvements. Full Photoshop can also do this but it's an alteration in the Preferences.
