centon F G 30 on my D3000

hi, i have a nikon D3000 and was wondering if i can use a centon FG30 flash on it with out it messing with the electrics of my camera?

According to this page the Centon FG30 has a 200V trigger voltage. I don't think I'd risk it, even though I've seen reports that Nikons can handle up to 250V triggers.You'd probably be limited to manual flash anyway, which can be challenging to say the least. There is a gizmo called the Wein Safesync which would cut down the trigger voltage, but at a price that's probably more than the flash is worth, and more than you could buy a 'safe' flashgun for.
