Just out of curiosity, when you do group lens tests, why isn't the equivelent 4/3rds lens also included? Is this because getting these lenses off Olympus is difficult, or some other reason? It seems a bit like the 4/3rds system is being marginalised and not taken seriously by magazines. Olympus's 7-14 (14-28mm 35mm format) is a stunning optic, but I have yet to see a comparative review including this optic against it's equivelents in the APS-C format.

One thing that I have not been overly keen on when it comes to the lens tests recently, is that you are not really compairing lenses so much. because no matter what way you look at it, you cant compare a Canon lens, to a Nikon Lens, to an Olympus lens... yet thats what the tests seem to be doing... I dont imagine that its common for people who buy your magazine to be shooting with multiple makes of camera...

Although, I will add that as I only started reading this months issue this morning, I've not actually read that review yet, but that does appear to be the case on the face of it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that the info isn't good, but its just that there doesn't appear to be much choice in the matter... and lenses are not necessarily the most straight forward subject in photography...

IMMO the best on-line site for lens reviews is photozone. Recently I came across another good lens review site www.lenstip.com Reviews are quite detailed and verdicts unbiased. Between these two sites and to some extent www.slrgear.com one should have a good indication of the quality of a lens.
