They are all good brands, if you put snobbery aside i would put it down to the following: how it feels in your hands, can you work all the controls easy, once you buy into a system like me I have a Canon with a collection of accesories for it your upgrade to save horendous outlay woulld be a Canon, go on what your comfortable using not the brand!

What's right with it? I played only once, if you can call it play. When I managed to hit the ball it went sideways and in zizag direction thereafter. I got on the green after twenty miles of walking and about two hours after the other players were back in the clubhouse swilling pints of the golden stuff. Nope, there's nothing wrong with golf if you're any good at it I'm sure...

In some ways golf is not that different to photography;

The first time you pick up a golf club you can't expect to hit a hole in one. In the same way that you can't expect to take the perfect photo the first time you pick up a camera.
Both hobbies take time, practice, patience and over time hopefully you are rewarded by improving.

I've still to get a hole in one and take the perfect photo, so I've got plenty of time to enjoy my hobbies.

If you put it like that, I should have given up years ago.

I quite often tell people photography is a bit like golf, you spend all that time & effort trying to get a perfect shot & when you do you just want to go & repeat it again, and again, only both are quite difficult to repeat.

The secret is to skip the first 18 holes and go right to the 19th

Interesting to note that the OP has not bothered to come back to enlighten us as to why we should not be talking about golf.
