Its ok, but theres nothing really to draw the eye. I like the cloud reflected in the water

Nice picture. There's not a lot going on in the picture, but the dock draws your eye towards the middle of the fram, unfortunatly there is nothing thre. Try converting this to black and white and see if looks more moody.

Most importantly keep trying and keep shooting. I am a begineer as well, so I know how sometime it can be a struggle.

I like it, there is potential here in this shot, but perhaps you lack the digital dark room experience to utilise it. I like the use of the board walk, it leads you in, but to use this more crop out the beach, the board will then lead in from the corner, also crop out the first tree on the left as this has too much movement in it. Try clipping the highlights to draw more texture from the cloud and perhaps a black and white conversion might offer a different take.
Remember- the camera is one element, what you do in the digital dark room matters.
