Longboarder at sunset

G'day would appreciate some comments on how to make this shot better.
I was wondering about maybe a zoom lens to bring the longboader closer.

Beautiful sunset. It's a tough situation - if you had zoomed in, you would have lost the lovely panoramic sunset feel. But with it so wide, I wouldn't have known it was a longboarder unless you said.

Maybe get the wide angle shot, then zoom in and comp the two together? Or shout really loud and ask him to come closer?

This image has a lovely feel to it but the Longboarder is lost, which is a pity.
Great sunset though.

its a nice image, wonderfull sunset shame about the longboarder though, you could try a lower viewpoint with A zoom i dont think youd lose to much of that wonderfull sunset too.

Its a nice sunset. The long boarder though looks like he needs cloned out to me (on the small version on teh screen) on a 2m long print he may work. You need a much longer lens to make him the subject next time and it will work well.

I can only agree with what has already been said. Cracking sunset, I'd be pleased if it was mine.

And the boarder is smack bang in the middle of the shot. Maybe placing him elsewhere might work. Just a thought.
