Online reader survey exclusive to DSLR owners?

I have subscribed to Digital Camera magazine for a few years now. When I first started subscribing to the magazine I owned a Nikon D50. After a long decision I decided to sell it (I still miss it sometimes) as it was a lot to carry around with 3 extra lenses and I found that perhaps I wasn't taking so many photos as I used to. I now own a Lumix DMC FZ38 and am very pleased with it so far and the quality of the photos it takes. I note that in the current magazine you are running an online reader survey and the first question you are asking what is your current model of DSLR do you own. I note that you do you do review in kit zone non DSLR camera and this issue you have a supplement for hybrids. Does this mean as my current camera is not technically a DSLR I am exempt from the survey. I am sure there are others that would be interested to know as well?

I note that Digital Camera Magazine now has the strapline "the definitive guide to SLR photography". Since they put this on it and changed their emphasis to DSLRs I've rarely buy it. I've been using high end compacts since 2002 and currently have a Canon G12. My photos frequently get into flickr Explore and have been used in publicity material for town websites.

Just because I choose not to lug around a load of expensive kit that doesn't mean I'm not a serious photographer. Digital Camera needs to realise that there are a lot of us out there who feel that their magazine is no longer for us.
