Just Ducks

Down by the river with Dog - Grey Wagtails and Dippers didn't hang around, so all that was left were the ducks. So ducks it is!

Mono as the best way to bring out the subject from the background

#3 Blur-by (rather than fly-by!)


#4 Sitting Pretty

I agree with oldboy about the third one. A faster shutter speed would habve frozen the action and the waterdroplets or had you panned, the duck would have been sharper and the foreground kept blurred.

TBH, I was after a blurred shot - you can see I panned as the feet are sharp and the trees behind are blurred, it's just that she moved her head as she came passed!

All good practice for Chatsworth Horse Trials next weekend - I tend to pan them as well!
