DPP cropping

Can any one tell me How the ratios in the 'trim' program relate to international paper sizes ......Please

Hello Maz, if you take the ratios in the trim to be Inches then you will find they could be slightly bigger or smaller than international paper sizes, e.g. if you crop 3:2 this will do
6''x4'' then 9''x6'' which will fit A4 and leave a white border, then 12''x9'' which is bigger than A4.
If you can crop to your paper size there is a web site dedicated to paper sizes this gives them in Inches as well as MM.

Thanks Swan lover, I'm not much of a mathematician, but had my suspicions that canon were being a little naughty with the ratios and not relating them to available paper sizes for easy use of the trim tool.

Thats okay Maz like I said its guess work I'm going on the ratio and assuming its inches!
If you have photshop or similar where you can input a custom size use that to crop its what I do if I need A4 or even as recently requested A5!
