Gulls

Taking a break in a photoshoot, I wanted to get the gulls in front of New Brighton lighthouse, so was relatively pleased with this

Looks like a dispute in the making!

Cracking shot and well caught. Might be tempted to crop out the two buoys.

Very nicely caught - agree with Old Boy about the buoys, they are a bit too bright. Also, I know I am being pedantic, but there is a red blurred dot at the tip of the right wing of the flying gull, which I would also be tempted to remove. But lovely effort!

Regards,
Denise

Many thanks! Wasn't too sure about the buoys - they were there and contributed balance (of a sort!) so I left them in. Ironically, I saw blurred dot last night and reckoned I should've got rid (so not pedantic at all) but I literally took the shot straight from camera

Nice shot, I like how you got the lighthouse in the background. We are visiting New Brighton again soon, has all the work on the front been completed yet? We always get some chips from the mediterranean sea chippy! of course its more famous for Martin Parr's photographs and not mine lol

The lighthouse makes a superb background to the nice & sharp gulls

TBH, didn't really look! Was focussed on the fashion shoot (using the, what I'd guess to be, old tram shelters - and in the park). Around the car park was finished - I guess if I had to say one way or the other, I'd say it was finished - except the supermarket (or whatever it is)
