My local church

Here is a shot of my local church. The arch is from a previous church and they are both right next tio a Roman fort.

Interesting shot, but the sky hasn't go enough brightness to balance the darkness of the church.

I agree. Because the buildings etcare in such bold silhouette you have the opportunity to add a lot more punch to the sky. If you use Photoshop - enhance saturation, copy layer and try altenative blending modes.

I really like the contrast of the sky and buildings how it is - perhaps it's a screen brightness thing?

Making the sky brighter would make the shot thinner as we used to say about slides.

I have already used photshop to adjust the levels.

I am happy that it does not look overprocessed another visit another day may yield a better sky but for now I will leave this alone.

Funny - I prefer the sky in the second one, as it's warmer. But I still prefer the silhouettes in the first
