Hi Trev and welcome to the forum.

I saw the article too and thought that it was something that I should try but haven't got there yet.

Great colours and composition. Well done.

ps. are you also known as runner?

Hi Trev.
Technically this is brilliant. I too read the article and put it in the back of my brain to try 'later'.
If I were to be super critical I would say that subjects like this need a lot of attention to composition. The ruler is not parallel to the 30/60 square and the 45 square is not parallel to the base of the angle finder. This doesn't quite work aesthetically. Try placing the instruments square and parallel then use the 'Rule of Thirds', it should work well with this type of image.
Don't take this to mean it's rubbish - it isn't. I just think it could be a little bit better.
Keep taking pictures.

To get stung by nettles in search of a photo is one thing. To spend all day getting stung by them might be considered to be another thing entirely.
