Both nice shots, looks like spring has sprung. I agree the crop is an improvement to the composition

I haven't anything to add to the critique apart from liking both shots, but I do have a random question.....

Was this shot in the general vicinity of Billericay? Forest looks awfull failiar (if a forest can look that different from any other)
