Both very good photos, I like the composition of the first, but feel like it's missing a bit of the path on the right hand side. The second shot of the wild garlic has great colours and excellent DoF. (BTW don't touch it unless you want your hands to stink of garlic for days).

Regards

Nick

Thankyou nick for your comments, i now what you mean by the path, it was hard to get right, had to shoot vertical for the hieght and didnt want to lose the trees so the path had to go,
thanks
dan

Love the wild garlic dan, great shot. With the trees shot, personally, i'd crop the bottom of the pic off, so the path forms a lead-in from the bottom right of the shot. See what you think

Very nice Dan. I like Matt's suggestion and I think it would work well, but this probably meant you could have taken this shot in landscape.

Cracking shots.

I was photographing the same today. Wild garlic is a pain, as it grows in darkish conditions but has white flowers.

cheers... it can be, normally struggle with those sortof situations, if im honest i found the shot easy to take, 1 stop under exposed then just jigged it around in photoshop, only took 1 photo of the garlic, lol
