Which of these would you choose to get with Nikon D7000

18-105 vr or 55-200vr

If I didn't have any other lenses, and wanted a general purpose lens, the 18-105 would be my choice. The 55-200 starts at too long a focal length for many uses.

I would go 18-105 over the 55-200. You read reviews they say that 18-105 is not good enough for the d7000. I would also like to know what lens to get with my d7000. I am think the Tamron 17-50mm f2.8. Anyone using this lens with a d7000?

For a walkabout try the Nikon 18-200
For landscape the sigma 10-20f3.5
I have both and love them to bits
