I wouldn't want the Tamron lens, the image quality is pretty shabby and you'll really notice that on the D7000 with all those pixels. 28mm isn't very wide either so it's not much use for landscapes...

I'd have the Sigma 17-70mm OS if you can afford it. If not, the 18-105mm VR is a fine place to start.

Only got £1300 thats for D7000 with ???????????????????????????????

Depends on what I can get the above for I hate all this ,wish I could make up my mind .
