Something Flowery

hello guys and gals,

heres a couple from today, i want to improve my macro work, i didnt use a macro lens for this, as i dont own one, (next on the list of purchases) so i used my 70-200L, for the first and my 18-55 for the second, not ideal, but what do you think

this one is already on another thread so sorry for repeating......

Dan,
Wow, you have been busy
I got to say across the board they are all worthy of display anywhere.
I like the first one, the subject is beautiful, only suggestion would be if cropped to off centered a little might be more pleasing to the eye.
Number two is a great effort, the presence of the bee is just what it needed to improve a nice flower and set a little weight to one side.
I also like the composition depth, it works well with the subject
Regarding the last image , I like what you did, You did it well. It is just not my thing as much as the original

Good job and when you get that macro your going to love shooting even more.

Two great shots and well done. Using a 70-200mm for that shot can blur the background very softly, and even though I have a couple of macro lenses I still use the 70-200mm at times.

Also, well done for trying to change the bluebell shot in photoshop. That's the best way to learn and can even rescure a so so shot.

Methinks that's a purple flower and a bee! Not a pink flower and a wasp

Pretty sure the flowers are "Tinkerbells", and the bee is a Northern European Fuzzybum
