Smoke Trails

Here is my first attempt at smoke trails. I increased the Blacks to make the background darker and Vibrance to give the glow in RAW. I took the shots last week and this was one of my favorites, unfortunatly my daughter is still a bit chesty from the incents sticks so i dont think i will be taking any more unless its in the shed!

Lovely, the blue and black complement each other perfectly.

Very nice, I think I'd tidy it up a little bit more & remove the lowest little dot at the bottom of the smoke & the line & other little bits just on top of the main body near the left edge.

Have you tried inverting the image, you can also get some lovely effects turninf the smoke dark on a white background.

Lovely shot. I think i would be tempted to see what the 3 main swirls in the centre and on the right of the image look like on their own. I find the left portion a little untidy compared to the rest of the image, but those 3 waves are very intriguing.

Well done.

Cheers, Sie

Yep, spot on. I think that's a great improvement. What do you think?

Of course, it's only my opinion and may not be shared by others. Ultimately it's your take on it that counts.

Well done.

Cheers, Sie
