Help me understand what is going on please. Yesterday i receive my copy of DC look at the Mission and understand I can submit a pic or pics of TREES by the 23rd October. Today I read a post dated yesaterday saying he MIssion is for 'Late-summer landscapes' and has to be in by 25th September .
What is the mission and when does it have to be in by?
Oh and another thing the mag says go to the Photoradar website and the web has a post saying go to theMag for entry instructions. Can you tell me where to go please? No,not there!!!!

Aren't the missions bi-monthly? ie. Augusts mission is shown in October, Septembers in November etc...

Two questions---1. To repeat what has already been asked, where do I submit images for "Tree" mission? It is in the magazine, but nowhere to be found on here. 2. Where can one view the images that have already been submitted for previous missions--such as the recent one on summer? Great website and magaziine but have to admit the "Mission" stuff is lacking in direction and location.

Hi there,

I’m sorry that there appears to be some confusion over the Mission.
To clarify:
Everyone month we have a themed competition the results of which are published two issues ahead, i.e the current mission is Late Summer Landscape (announced in issue 90) the closing date is 23rd September (today) and the results will be printed in issue 93. However in the meantime issue 91 has gone on sale before the closing date of the mission announced in issue 90 and the next mission, “Trees”, has been announced. As a consequence there is a window every month where two ‘Missions’ are effectively open.

To answer Roger’s specific questions:

Q. Where do I submit images for "Tree" mission?
A. E mail your photos to us at digitalcamera@futurenet.com <mailto:digitalcamera@futurenet.com?subject=Late-summer%20landscapes> with the theme you’re entering as the subject line. For example if you’re entering the “Trees” mission then write “Trees” in the subject of your e mail. There is currently no facility on PhotoRadar for submitting images online.

Q Where can one view the images that have already been submitted for previous missions--such as the recent one on summer?
A There is no facility to do this at the moment. The winning images are printed in Digital Camera magazine. The Late Summer mission closes today, we will then select the winners and the images will be printed in issue 92 (Autumn) which goes on sale 20th Oct 2009.
