Question PS tutorials.

:hello all,
anyone now of any CS5 specific tutoirals, either book or video, as i found a technique i wanted to try but its in elements and i cannnot work out how to do it in cs as there are a bit different, i tried and got stuck in places, anyone suffer this or is it just me?? any help would be great,

Whats the technique Dan, it bugs me when on here and the videos they say Photoshop when they are in Elements, in the vids surely it could be added that in Ps you do it this way. Its hard enough learning Ps as it is. You will find plenty of tutorials if you just Google Cs5.

yeah it really annoys me as i find it hard to learn photoshop, hence why my images lack finese some times, nope looked on youtube, they have it for elements too, its called harris shutter effect, wanted something to entertain me on a wet day not frustrate me, in the mag it say elements or cs but wont show it in cs, ill try google in a bit, cheers guys

Just had another thought Dan, have you tried the apple istore? I know that there are free podcasts covering photoshop on there.

cheers steve just had a look havent viewed any have to wait till i attempt to download itunes again, they look ok, there not too specific but theyll do, thanks, can anyone recomend any decent cs5 books too?? like having a book for refernce sometimes,

Silversnapper has got it. Youtube and iTunes both have a wide variety of tutorials and the best thing about them is they are normally done by average Joe.

They break boundaries and all the rules!

good thing with youtube is i can download the vids for reference later, yeah they do make a lot more sense,

Dan, have you checked out the tutorials in Cs5, look under help/ps help and Photoshop Support Center, plenty videos there. I'm lucky in the respect that I have two monitors so I can put the video on one and Cs on't 'tother.

yeah ive seen a few of them, not all, that would be nice to have does get annoying flipping between the two, cheers
