Question Adobe elements 9 NO RAW

I recently purchased Adobe elements 9 on the understanding it would automatically open raw images from my D3100.
Having just returned from a carribean cruise, and yes I cant wait to go back I was eager to see my images all 12GB of them.
So patiently waited whist they transfered into elements and hey presto message box says card is damaged or in format the system can not read.
Next step open them in Nikon View NX2 no problem.
So the question is WHY NOT IN ELEMENTS??

Any clues!!!!

You need the latest version of Camera Raw version 6.3. I have posted a link below.

http://www.adobe.com/support/downloa...jsp?ftpID=4917

Make sure you follow the instructions fully, as you have to move the old version to the desktop before installing the new version.

You may be able to just run the update in Elements and it will install the new ACR for you. It does in mine on a Mac, not sure if the same on Windows.
