Winterpeg

This was taken during the first fall of snow here in Winnipeg. The location is right in the center of Winnipeg Downtown in Central Park.

Orlanramos.
I really like the white balance or however you achieved the blue tint... for me it says ' very cold winter day '
I like the stark image of tree in the foreground , for me, it should dominate the image. Maybe not possible to compose the building out of the shot.
Again just my opinion, the building in the 'background' kind of clutters the scene for me.
Keep shooti'n

Orlando,
I took the liberty of cruising through your albums. You have a couple of really great shots. The Mother & Son portrait is very powerfull, I really like it
The landscape " Hope in the Courtyard " also is a very well composed and executed image. When you have time you might play with it as a black and white.
Any way, keep shooting and learning
John

Lovely shot and I shivered just looking at it!

I agree with jp and think the building is an unwanted distraction. The tree against the sky is so beautiful.

I would also look at cloning out the branch in the top right or adjusting the composition so that it isn't in the shot.

We must let everyone in the UK know that Winnipeg only has two seasons: Winter and mosquito It is often called Winterpeg by other Canadians, especially those of us in The Canadian Centre of the Universe (Toronto for those in the UK)
