Question Nissin Di866 Flash

Hi.

I've got Nissin Di866 flash unit that I was using on my old 450 D, but now i've sort of grown up a little and purchased a 60D.

I used them both together at a friends function last weekend and found that the only way i could get a decent picture was to under expose the picture (in aperture setting on the camera) to boost the frame speed up and i'd get a nice picture. Yes I was also bouncing the flash too just in case anyone asks.

I thought if i just used the auto option then both the camera and flash would work together to get the best possible result but alas it doesn't happen.

I've upgraded the firmware but that's done nothing what so ever to help my cause and now I'm just stuck as to what to do and how to get the best out of my equipment.

If anyone wants to help then please do!!!

Thanks

Have you got the latest version of the firmware for the flash?
