physiograms

hi everyone, i have been looking at physiograms on flikr and some of the shots are amazing. i have had a go and got a couple by dangling an led from the ceiling and spinning in around, but does anyone know how i would go about creating some of the very complex and symetrical patterns? perhaps a link to a video?

cheers, craig

Perhaps the best way to create a symmetrical pattern is to duplicate a shot and flip it. That way you're guaranteed a symmetrical pattern!
