Love your pictures. What settings did you use to capture these images? I always find if I used 10 sec exposures, the picture comes out really over exposed even with the Ev cranked down.

Three factors affect your exposure - aperture, shutter speed and iso. To permit a slower shutter speed you need to adjust either the aperture or the iso, or both. Ensure that you're using the lowest iso that your camera allows, and then use a progressively narrower aperture (higher f/number) until you get an acceptable exposure for the given shutter speed. If you're still not able to get an acceptable exposure then you'll need to invest in a neutral density filter too.

Ron b, itshaheed,

thanks for the comments.

EddieIp,

Sorry wasnt able to answer your queries, most of the shots have their exif intact. I often used nd filters to reduce light and be able to have lower shutter speeds. I often used f16 which is the most minimum my lens would get without having diffraction problems. ISO is set to the lowest.

HTH.

Some of my recent shots...taken again in the province of Quezon, Philippines.

Thanks for viewing.

Some of my recent takes and entries in the Landscape category of the POTY.

I have always been fascinated with the intimate landscape. As coined by Elliot Porter, inner scenes of the land is just as spectacular as the grand scene.

Moments are events that we landscape photographers wait for. Rainbows are one of the hardest element to be captured. here is my take, from lake caliraya in the Philippines.

Thanks.
