CS4 suite colour discrepancies to print

Hi,

I am new to the forum, an I am afraid I come with a problem (of course.) I have both an Epson RX620 and an Epson Stylus Pro 4000, which up until a month ago worked fairly well with my work sent from CS4 suite and Acrobat Pro on my Intel Mac 10.4. The main problem is colour calibration - my grey is now printing out green on both printers.
My work is mostly printed on single-weight (180 gsm) matt photographic roll paper but occasionally I use satin and inkjet transparencies. It is also mainly line drawings, graphics and photos. I tend to do all my text grey and this is where the problem has been most noticeable. I have attempted several time to play with the colour management in adobe bridge and the printer, but I really don't understand what I am doing.

I guess my first question is where do I begin to diagnose the problem? And then I guess the question will be how do I remedy it!
All help welcome!!!!! Thanks!

You need to make sure only Photoshop or printer software handles colour, as my guess is both are setting the colours, hence the conflict. The general rule of thumb is to let the printer handle the colour.
