Canon 500d & AEB

Good Evening,

Is there a way for the Canon 500d to take 3 continuous AEB shot with only the need to press the shutter once and not for each frame ?

On a bridge camera I moved from I was able to set a 2 sec timer can the camera took 3 shots without the need to touch the camera in any way.

I do have a remote release.

Well you can hold the shutter release down and shoot in continuous mode. If you do that with your remote release you won't have to touch the camera.

on my Canons if you set exposure compensation in the menu to take a series of 3 shots, for instance -1, 0 +1 & then set the shutter on continuous, when you hold the button down it will take 3 shots (or 5 or 7 on the 1D Mk4) & not fire off continuosly, though you do have to hold the shutter in until all 3 are taken otherwise it will take one at a time at the 3 exposure settings.

I'm not sure you can do it just to take 3 shots automatically using the same settings. The above is for HDR type stuff or when you want to take the same shot at different exposures
