Some B&W shots

Ok, so it was requested by thermosflask that someone start posting some B&W shots. Here's one from me, taken the other day at a wedding. (it uses the patented boltondave B&W frame style).

Ok, Ill play. A girlfriend of mine recently asked me to take a few shots of her *posing* with her old East German Simson scooter circa 1978 (not 1960 as the image caption in my gallery shows) - now as collectable as the old Trabbie (Trabant car). In keeping with the age of the scooter I was asked to have a go at appearing to make the photograph look a bit old. This is what I came up with - opinions please.




As it turns out this is the one that she likes best which has been subjected to a lot of toning in Lightroom.

Oh go on, I love B&W...

@Forseti - I like the mono shot better, although I like the faded tones of the second shot as well. Personally I'd do a curves adjustment to add a little more contrast to the shot though.
