That`s where the challenge comes sometimes DD - doing something new. I`m the same. I`ve got so few portraits in my sets that it is a real gap. I`m thinking of approaching a stranger locally for it but also got another option dependent upon some co-operation from Leeds Flickr group members at the weekend.

Ah well. First plan failed. I`ve seen this eastern european lass with an accordion every time I`ve been down to a local shopping parade busking away and me thinking "That would be a good shot". I decide to go and ask and she has gone. Must have finally realised that busking outside Aldi was not a good business plan!
Hey Paul, that Eastern European lass certainly gets around. We have a similar one outside Jessop's in Stockport.

Leave him alone - you`ll get his goat.
You too DD. The nerve ...suggesting it was a one night stand.
Everyone knows it`s his steady girlfriend

Last night I was sat quietly with my youngest when I said " I never want to live in a vegatative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens just pull the plug".
She got up, unplugged my laptop and poured my wine down the sink!

I agree and think that a portrait can be a lot more intresting if it isn't just the old head and shoulders effect!

Great shot by the way.
