Lightbulb Money Saving ideas & DIY Solutions

Hi All, I often build home made bits and bobs rather than buy the professional\expensive products. So if you have any ideas you would like to share please post them here.

My latest creation is a Lee filter holder made for the Nikon 14-24mm f2.8, this lens has no facility to mount a filter, you could get a Cokin universal mount but light gets in behind the filter and causes reflections etc, this mount gets round that problem

There are a few more images of the basic construction here.

Keep those ideas coming in

There is a home made light box in the current edition of Practical Photography which only requires a few sheets of white card, some scissors and a stapler (with staples of course!)

I'm certainly going to have a go at making it.

Also worth checking out is the Instructables website. It's full of all sorts for those of you who like glueing and sticking and there are quite a few decent photography things on there.
