Fear not it's just that Nikon sponsor it .Any camera will do .A word of advice it is peer reviewed with some input from the magazine .The mag subscription is good though .

Last year you had several topics and either a basic or advanced technique to follow .I enjoyed the discipline it gave me and learned quitwe a bit
