One of the reasons for the break is i put the camera away. The other is i lost this site!!!! Apologies. Going to spend the next few days checking things out and getting up to speed.
Hello Stranger , I wondered whether you'd gone into hiding as you seem to vanish without trace. Looking forward to seeing some more images from you.

I thought the police had arrested you for flashing in public!

Welcome back and a great series of shots.

Hey guys. I have just taken the liberty of rereading this thread. I hadnt realised how much help you have been. Even just reading it again has helped hammer home some of the things i learnt.

Anyhow, i have taken on an assistant at work and it turns out she is a keen photographer. We are having a bit of friendly competition with pictures (Including the ones above) but it is helping in that there is a weekly topic to produce.

Any help going forward would be appreciated. I know there are other parts to this site but it was always handy to keep the progress and help to one thread for me.

Thanks Again

Right, we have settled on this weeks task. Cats.

I have the previous version i have done before but thinking a bit different now. Thinking maybe a face to face shot of my daughter and the cat. Or mabe me and the cat if she isn't keen. Cat is very docile so easy to get her to do it.

Thanks oldboy .

I was trying to use window light. Maybe should have increased the f value to get the other eye 100% in focus.

Considering it took 2mins to setup it's handy for future shots of the kids
