Nice shot, but try a slower shutter speed so the spokes are blured. That way you can tell the car is moving, and not parked up. Thankfully the weight distribution on the wheels here gives it sense of movement.

(I've a novice, except when it comes to motorsport!)

Thanks but a slower shutter speed when your not panning is not a good idea. The cars pass quit quickly they become a blur when coming straight at you.
To much said about slower shutter speeds. As good as it may look the mags want there pic`s as sharp as possible.

I am an expert when it comes to motorsport !

I`m no expert but i can be full of it myself.

Personally I agree with TJW.

I know what you mean about mags wanting sharp shots but I'd prefer to have some evidence of movement. Then again I'd also like a clearer background as fluorescent jackets always annoy me in motorsport shots.

Well, I think it's a nicely composed shot of a DTM in a low speed corner, driver is checking his apex as he turns in and blurred marshalls in the background give the shot location and authenticity. I may have rotated the image a touch more for a bit stronger impact. Cool shot none-the-less.
