Canon Pixma MG 6150

Having just read the review of this printer in the March PhotoPlus I'm tempted to buy one.Has anyone purchased one of these and do they have any comments to make?

As the review says it is not an All-in -one printer yet it has a scanner does this mean you can only scan to memory rather than use as a photocopier or is something else missing?

Apparently the printer is so new there are no compatible cartridge suppliers yet but should this bother me or should I stick to Canon cartridges? Although the review is very good, particularly for B&W printing, are 3 colours plus 2 blacks and a gray adequate for colour printing?

At around £145 should I be considering any other makes/models?

Thanks in anticipation

On reading the review a second time I see it is in fact an "All-in-one" printer the comment which I had misread was that the reviewer thought it " a bit pricey if you don't need the all-in-one features"
Now where did I put my specs?

I bought the MG6150 last year and must say I'm highly delighted with the photo quality prints. As for compatable inks, yes they're available, but as yet I've only used Canon inks.

I wonder if the "phew!" meant that you felt it was expensive..... my Epson Pro 4000 uses 8 inks and (from Epson) they're 80 pounds per 220ml or 50 pounds per 110ml. Each.
