Good online course

Hi I am fairly new to photography and am looking for a good online course. I have had my Canon 500d for just over a year now. I have hit a wall from reading how to do it. So would now like to be shown by somebody who knows what they are doing..
I work shifts so doing a night class is out, because I would miss most of the classes. So only really left with the web. I have been searching the net, but there are so many. Getting a bit lost.
Hope you can help.

Matt.

Hello Matt,

I hope you don't mind me asking, but are you free at weekends and do you live anywhere near Leicester? If the answer to both questions is 'Yes' then click on this link. In one day you'll learn all the basics and be a lot more confident using your camera by the end of it.

if you want a course online with a qualitfication, apparently the photography institute is a good one, it costs 500 quid, but ive been told its well worth it by many people,

Just had a look at that course myself (Hope you dont mind be bugging in). I fancy signing up as well. Is the course based on Nikon hardware or do they welcome Canon users? I also fancy the subscription offer but dont want to sign up if the mag is aimed at Nikon.

I know most things are generic but i would prefer to sign up to a mag where i am not have=ing to work out their instructions every time with regards to button etc.

Apologies for the thread hijack but your question is probably what i would have asked for too

i am not sure if it is totally nikon, hope not as i have canon as well. have read mag b4 and it is universal, and as it is only £10 for 6 copies i have taken the risk.
