I like allsorts of things about PR..I like the reviews and the reccomendations, I enjoyed the articles about mere mortals shooting with a pro for the day..and though I work on shoots I never get to see the photography aspect other than via the D.O screen so I can leap in and sort out any make up errors. I also like the community of the Forum, some very interesting people here.

For me who knows nothing about photography its a huge steep learning curve but I read with interest and aspire to post some pictures of interest and quality..

I’ve voted for something else but it’s tied in with the forum, it’s the weekly comp, there is no better place to learn and develop

Ditto re; Michael`s vote and comment. I would love to use this site more as I did the old one for photo critique but galleries / image posting too cumbersome to use regularly and that seems to have reduced member participation in looking at others` galleries so I use flickr and other sites for that aspect. I keep coming back for the weekend comp as, with a number of other challenges I do for fun here and there, it keeps me thinking within a time frame to try and get different ideas and push myself into areas I don`t usually cover.

I voted for the forum, as I always look there first. The competition and critique section are firm favourites.

However, I will probably look at the tutorial videos and technical editing tips more often now that I'm 'studying' PhotoElements.

As everyone alse, I would appreciate a quicker, easier way to look at other member's galleries.

Not only do I learn a great deal from it but I just love the dynamics of the forum . You know the sort of thing I mean:
1. Newbie or inexperienced photographer poses question seekink help and advice.
2. Flurry (if you are really lucky) of suggestions from intermediate level members who've been down that path.
3. Contribution from learned senior member
4. Disagreement from another learned/senior member
5. Slanging match ensues ( this phase can go on for a number of pages)
6. Member resigns or is expelled or thread gets hijacked by a newbie who decides this thread is his/her opportunity to raise the question he/she has always wanted to ask.
7. Re-Start from step 2 and proceed with caution.
Don't you just love it?!
