Paul,
As said it was/is an honest oversight as i have been more interested in making the picture clickable than anything else.
Should this entry become a problem i can easily remove it. Sorry to cause a rucus. Perhaps the "once the topic is posted you are allowed to shoot" could be made a rule as it would give a little more daylight time to people like myself who work weekends cto get a picture in. My only daylight shooting at the moment is lunchtimes.

OK with me too. I didn't mention it last week either, because

1) I can't see the point in delaying the start
2) No-one else mentioned it either

We need to put up a poll to change the rules, ao I'l get along with that now.

Good idea about the poll for the rule change, I am struggling more so than ever with this one but I have the whole weekend to think about it.

Cracking entries so far

The rule change would certainly help those who work weekends like Jeff. On another site that I frequent, the usual excuse for not entering was 'I work weekends' so that became a weekly comp. It would work here if the new topic was anounced asap and people could take their shots from then on.

Just voted for the rule change. Five votes so far, all in favour.

Yesterday the weather was great, today hopeless and I don't think the forecast is all that good. To have that extra bit of time, may make a huge difference to those of us who need bright weather for most of our photographs.
So, yes, bring it on!
