OK, actually took this yesterday lunchtime as the sun was out then. Grey and miserable today and the weekend looks no better so this is my effort.

Meant to flag it up for you when you did it last week kerbside but strictly speaking you`ll need to shoot again. Akthough the theme is put up on a wednesday / Thursday to give people advance warning we are supposed to shoot from Friady to end of Sunday. To be honest it does not bother me and I am happy to go with images taken any time after the theme is set but don`t know what others think.

Personally - I don't give a hoot.

The great thing about these weekly Comps is that it means you have to go and shoot pictures. I've been on Forums where all people do is talk about gear, you get the impression that they may not even own a camera let alone take pictures.

In fact, being able to take pictures for the comp starting from the time the Theme is announced would be an improvemnet in my mind. Most of us will still do it at the weekend, but it does give a chance to those away at the weekend to get a pic entered.

I agree that would be an improvement as I had some outdoor shots that I could have shot yesterday but the weather has turned and is supposed to be worse over the weeken so I will not be able to do so.

I can reshoot, not a problem if that is what is required, must admit i did not give this a lot of thought as once the theme had been set i assumed that it was ok.
As weekends are crammed with work and other things as well perhaps this could be an ammendment in the future that once a theme is set then it is ok to shoot?
I have already received a pm from someone else on this, i will let it stand for now and see what others think.
Perhaps being new on here i am a little too keen.
Thanks to all for the heads up.

No problem here with a change in the rules.

Well I don`t see the harm because once it changed to allowing Friday entries there seems little difference between that and Thursday so leave it on for me - just want it clear for all.
