I see no reason for this non ministerial department to be disbanded to be honest, other than to hand our heritage back to the land barons for whatever purpose they want to put it to. But we shouldn't let this take our eye off the political ball, as it is my opinion that changes to the way health management in the NHS is to be handed to GP's will also make poorer surgeries across the country unable to offer expensive treatments to patients. We are in for some major changes to lifestyle in this country I think!

With regard to the NHS, it seems increasingly like privatisation via the backdoor, using GP's as a portal.
What makes me pig sick about this country or more correctly, the facist politicians, is that we have no money for the citizens of the UK when it comes to health, education, social security for the elderly but, we've got plenty for illegal wars, bank bail outs and shoving this nation further down the sewer towards total European intergration. Our parents and grandparents fought a world war to prevent Hitler having his dream of a European super state. Now we are forced into it without any referendum on the subject. European law trumps British law now. The soverignty of this country is being washed away daily by bureaucrats in Brussels.
The government doesn't represent the people of this country. They haven't for a long time. They are there to represent corportate interests through revolving doors. We have the illusion of choice. It wouldn't matter who got into power at the last election because whether they wear a blue, red or yellow badge, they are ALL make up the big government party, merely passing the baton in a relay race towards globalisation.
You are totally correct Keith. We are going to see some MAJOR lifestyle changes in this country when the full effects of the austerity measures kick in. Ultimately, we have ourselves to blame as society's apathy towards politics has increased dramatically in recent years, as people are more concerned with booze, football, celebrity and mind numbing TV for the masses. It is also our ignorance of fractional reserve banking that has resulted in the sad economic state of the world.
