I disagree with the comments on 2 and 3. It doesn't need catchlight in the eye to show a bird in it's natural setting, and it has the classic pose from a different angle. The third is back-lit and shows clearly why it can climb a bark in both directions.

ahh you see a little patience ( and training ) can go a long way

much better in my opinion i like the moss perch and the nuthatch is nicely exposed

Couple more from today. I'm still persevering, trying to get that "classic" shot. Not quite there yet, but i think i'm improving. What do you think?
