great shots alf, I love the mono conversion. My favorite is no2 you fetch the outside into the shot which i feel improves the composition: It would be great to do a bit more dodge and burn on these

Great shots, they really make me want to visit Berlin. I love all the line and shape and think the b/w works really well.
Number 2 is my favourite also.

I need a new monitor/computer I think as they looked OK at home but often when I sneak a look when I am at work I can see my shots need more work.

Berlin is an interesting mix of new and Old like the ultra modern main railway station and the brdenburg gate

Here is a snapshot of the Riechstag from the outside its peppered with bulet holes

Another nice photo. It looks the sort of place I could enjoy and the photography looks good there.

Its a place of lots of history and worth visiting and I wish I had my DSLR when I first went and had more time.

No 1 for me. Awesome shot.

For me it's the best compositionally and the most dynamic, especially good use of DOF to catch all the details of the people and looks good BIG on Flickr

I totally feel for you RE the monitor... mines on it's way too

The DOF is quite easy on an Olympus 4/3 camera glad you like it I think its OK in colour too but I converted it to B&W as the wife wanted it on the wall in B&W.
