Our supplements

OK so we have done a run of supplements since our redesign in the summer - everything from portrait skills to slr basics to black and white etc etc. Judging by increased sales, people seem to like them,

Which have been the favourite ones so far? Do you find them helpful or do they go in the bin? Anything you'd like to see covered?

Tell, do

As a Newbie everything is helpful provided its in plain speak and not swamped in jargon and abreviations.
As I only came into DSLR in december any chance that you are going to issue a FULL CD i.e. nos1-10?
Also any chance of asking members to recommend photo clubs in there areas then you could publish perhaps a regional listing with venue times contact numbers facilities etc.
I live close to Leicester so I would assume there are many close by but cant find any listings antwhere!!

A suplement on printing - particularly getting the best from B&W would be really good.

Hi Phil,

Have you tried using the black and white wedge?

Yep,
Not sure why but it actually darkened everything from a zone 8 to complete black I thought I had done something wrong so repeated the exercise with similar results.

One thing regarding the wedge - it only seemed to be 5x7, do you have a 10x8 version? Resizing the 5x7 doesn't work very well..

I'm not sure filling the mag with regional camera clubs would be a big selling point. so they aint gonna do it! especially when you can Google such a request; which I've just done by the way - took 6.78 seconds of my time, which I'll invoice you for - here are the result - lots of Clubs in Leicester:

One thing about the supplements - can you make them all the same size?
