E3 replacement

How much longer do we have to wait for a new flagship model? I would love to buy a new E-30 but I am possibly stupidly waiting to see if they update the E-3 soon to see which best suits my needs. Is anyone else in the same situation?

I have heared no news and would not expect a update to the E-3 till next year at the earliest.

Saying that i am more than happy enough with my E-30 which I chose over the E-3.

buy what you can today, as if you wait for a new camera you will miss out on the shots.

if the E-30 isnt good enough reason to upgrade, then shoot with what you have. If you want the E-30 features, then go for it. I have not regretted my decision to upgrade to the E-30 a month ago, the camera is a great improvement over the E-510.

And waiting for the next flagship wont help you, as it will cost alot more then the E-30.

Strange that, I have two 20x16 prints on the wall shot at ISO640 on the E-30 and no problem with noise. Are you sure it is not your shooting / processing technique that is the problem.

As an ex-Oly user I was flicking through the Four Thirds User forums and saw a similar thread to this a couple of weeks ago. The general thought there seemed to be middle of next year for an E-3 update.

On a separate note, one person was suggesting it might be full frame!!
